These Terms and Conditions outline the policies governing our website and professional dog training services. By using our services, clients agree to the applicable terms outlined below, subject to their rights under the law.
1. Dog Training Services
Debbie's Dog Training & Behavior provides personalized in-person and virtual dog training services.
Services include behavior modification, puppy training, basic obedience, leash training, household manners, and owner coaching.
Training is tailored to each dog's behavioral needs and the owner's individual goals.
2. Free 20-Minute Dog Training & Behavior Assessment
All prospective clients are offered a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation.
During this conversation, we discuss your dog's behavioral concerns, training goals, and the services available.
Training fees are explained before scheduling the first appointment.
The consultation is free and does not obligate you to purchase any services.
3. First Training Session
Following the phone consultation, clients may schedule their first training session.
The first session is a separate, individually purchased service.
Payment for this session is due upon completion of the session.
During the appointment, we begin addressing your dog's behavioral challenges and demonstrate practical training techniques.
4. Optional Training Packages
Following the initial training session, clients may choose to purchase additional training sessions through a package.
Packages are entirely optional and are offered based on the client's training needs and goals.
Full payment for a training package is required when the package is purchased, before additional package sessions begin.
Additional sessions are typically scheduled approximately one week apart, allowing time for owners to practice and reinforce techniques between appointments.
Scheduling is subject to availability and individual training needs.
5. Payment and Refund Policy
Payment is required upon completion of the individually purchased first training session.
Training packages must be paid in full in advance.
Payments for completed training services and purchased packages are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
Any applicable statutory cancellation rights will be honored, including legally required refunds for qualifying cancellations.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients who need to cancel or reschedule an appointment should notify Debbie's Dog Training as soon as possible.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
If Debbie's Dog Training must cancel an appointment, we will arrange an alternative date or address any payment already received in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits a client's legally protected cancellation rights.
7. Training Results
Every dog is different, and behavioral progress depends on several factors, including temperament, environment, learning ability, and consistency of practice.
While Debbie's Dog Training provides professional guidance and practical behavioral training techniques, specific results or timelines cannot be guaranteed.
Owners are encouraged to practice recommended techniques between sessions to support continued progress.
8. Client Responsibilities
Dog owners are responsible for supervising and safely handling their dogs during training sessions.
Clients agree to disclose any known history of biting, aggression, or other behaviors that could present a safety concern.
Owners are responsible for providing a reasonably safe training environment and following appropriate safety instructions.
For virtual sessions, clients are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, equipment, and training space.
Debbie's Dog Training & Behavior reserves the right to modify or discontinue a session if conditions present an unreasonable safety risk. Any resulting payment issues will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
9. Website Use and Privacy
All website content, including written materials, photographs, and branding, is provided for informational purposes.
Content may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission, except as permitted by law.
Personal information submitted through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
Working with animals involves certain inherent risks because animal behavior cannot always be predicted.
Clients acknowledge the importance of following safety instructions and maintaining appropriate supervision of their dogs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for negligence or other conduct where such liability cannot legally be excluded, or limits rights protected by applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Debbie's Dog Training may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, or legal requirements.
Updated terms will be published on this website with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retroactively alter existing service agreements unless legally permitted.
